As I have some transformers, so I just decided to assemble one more «small» PSU for SDR receiver.
I don’t have good voltage regulators. l7805 from aliexpress not even working with 1A (1.5 datasheet), so I visit local flea market and found old polish regulators. Both for 1.5-2A — not sure, looks like it depend on power dissipation, not on the current.

I ordered used ez1080cp from aliexpress, so those regulators is a temporary solution (maybe). Anyway I wouldn’t recommend to by any electronic components from aliexpress — 30% of them are not working or relabeling. Sometimes I just have no choice.
Bought few capacitors on local shop, Samwha? Interesting if it’s original? Costs like original 🙂

It’s not so hard to use OPAMP and some transistors — I have some, but goal was to do something quick and easy.
Case will be the hardest part.
